ScienceWorks Field Trips and Museum Visits

We are thrilled you’re interested in registering for a field trip at ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum! Our mission is to inspire wonder and curiosity, and to be a launchpad for the next generation of creative thinkers and problem solvers. As educators, we are committed to offering hands-on STEAM explorations for all ages.

Our field trips are designed with teachers in mind, thoughtfully integrating with classroom learning while providing students with an engaging and exploratory STEAM experience.

Book a visit to the museum with 2 hours of free exploration time, or add an optional workshop to give your students an opportunity to engage even further.

Our workshops offer different hands-on activities and new ways to explore! Each workshop takes approximately 1 hour for up to 30 students at a time. For larger groups, additional workshop time slots will need to be added.

Please remember that outdoor picnic tables are available for your use to eat lunch or a snack. We ask that you do not eat in any of the exhibit galleries as it helps us keep our museum looking fresh and tidy! 

ScienceWorks requires notice of cancellation via email; otherwise, your group will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Email education@scienceworksmuseum.org at least 24 hours prior to your start time to cancel your reservation. If your group arrives late for your visit, ScienceWorks staff will do their best to accommodate your group staying a full 2 hours (outside your original time slot), but cannot guarantee it, due to other groups that may be visiting the museum that same day.
