Birthday Party Room Rental - 3 PM to 4:30 PM

Celebrate your special day with a hands-on, science-filled birthday party at ScienceWorks! Your party includes all-day museum admission, our private party room for 90 minutes, and plenty of time to explore our interactive exhibits.

You’re about to build your perfect ScienceWorks birthday party. Each choice you make shapes what your celebration will look like, so follow each step and pick what works best for you.

Choose your member type: Are you a ScienceWorks member or non-member? Make sure you log in to get your member discount!
Choose your group size: Will your party include up to 20 guests, or 21–30 guests? This affects your pricing.
Need space for more than 30 guests? Contact us ahead of time — additional fees apply.
Add a workshop: Would you like a hands-on workshop led by a ScienceWorks educator? (Up to 20 participants.)
Add goody bags: Would you like to include goody bags for $9.95 each (10% discount for members)?
Choose your timeslot: Pick your preferred timeslot for your party. Standard timeslots are available on Saturdays and Sundays.
Need a weekday party instead? Email us at info@scienceworksmuseum.org to request a custom weekday time.

Birthday Party Time Slots: 

• Saturday or Sunday: 10 AM to 11:30 AM

• Saturday or Sunday: 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM

• Saturday or Sunday: 3 PM to 4:30 PM

Pricing:

1-20 guests: Non-Member Birthday parties: $195 - Membership Price: $170 
21-30 guests: Non-Member Birthday parties: $255 - Membership Price: $230 

All party attendees are included in your participant count, including the birthday star and their family. However, children ages 0–2 are always free at ScienceWorks and are not counted toward your total.

Hosts may access the Celebration Room 10 minutes before their party start time. We kindly ask that you finish your celebration and exit the room by the end of your registered 90 minute timeslot. All party attendees receive museum admission for the entire day, so you and your guests are welcome to enjoy the public areas of the museum from 10 AM to 5 PM.

If you register for 1–20 guests and exceed that number, you will be charged $10 per additional person on the day of your party.

Reservations cancelled at least 14 days before the party date will be eligible for a refund less the non-refundable $50 deposit. Parties cancelled within 14 days of the reserved date will not be refunded.
