Description

Discover the wonders of Oregon in Awesome Oregon summer camp! Campers will create their own nature journals, exploring the history of scientific illustration while adding notes, sketches, and specimens. Hands-on activities include wildfire ecology, native tree identification, “Scat Kitchen” (yes, edible poop!), and building mini beaver dams. Science and adventure await! 🌿🔥💩🦫

ScienceWorks camps are led by experienced instructors who nurture curiosity while supporting diverse learning styles, including ADHD and neurodivergence. We provide a welcoming environment where every camper can thrive while having fun.

Campers must be capable of the following:

  • Stay with the group and not run or hide from camp staff.
  • Follow safety instructions promptly.
  • Share and play cooperatively with peers.
  • Use the restroom independently, including adjusting clothing.
